Fernando de Noronha

Fernando de Noronha Fernando de Noronha Sea turtle

At 525 km from Recife and 350 km from Natal, the Fernando de Noronha archipelago is an earthly paradise composed of 21 islands, only one of which is inhabited. The archipelago, on the Unesco World Heritage Sites list, is surrounded by beaches among the most beautiful in the World. In fact, Praia do Sancho beach has been elected “world most beautiful beach” in 2014 by TripAdvisor. The number of travelers is intentionally limited and the seabed is a national marine sanctuary, which makes the archipelago a world-famous diving spot. 230 fish species and 15 coral types have been registered so far. With or without diving equipment, you will be able to watch spinner dolphins, turtles, rays, and colorful fishes. Ten forts built between the XVIth and XVIIth centuries by the Portuguese can be visited during a horse ride or a buggy drive. You will also enjoy the hikes along the deserted beaches with exotic names: Praia do Atalaia, Praia de Caieira…
