Day 1: Recife - Olinda



Your Portuguese speaking driver will come to pick you up at Recife airport and bring you to your hotel in Olinda.

Day 2: Olinda

In the morning, your English speaking guide will come to pick you up to visit one of the most beautiful and well-preserved Brazilian colonial city.
You will first head towards Praça do Carmo square and the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Church, which was built around 1580. You will then go uphill through the colorful streets to the São Francisco convent, before going to the Alto da Sé (the city highest spot). We advise you to come back to watch the sunset. Finally, you will go downhill to visit the Contemporary Art Museum located in a former jailhouse.
Drive back to the hotel.

Day 3: Recife

Your English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel for a full-day city tour of Recife, the capital of the Pernambuco state.
First, you will head towards the Marco Zéro square, at the heart of the historical city center, which symbolizes the foundation of Recife by the Portuguese in 1537.
You will then cross Bom Jesus street, where is situated South America oldest synagogue – Kahal Zur Israël – which reminds us of the importance of the Israelite community in the city development.
After a lunch near Pátio de São Pedro square, you will visit the Capela Dourada, a Brazilian Baroque chapel with walls covered in gold built between 1696 and 1724. You will then enjoy a walk through the arborized Praça da República.
If you wish, you can also visit the famous Francisco Brennand workshop and Ricardo Brennand's castels and wax museum.

Day 4: Olinda - Praia dos Carneiros

Transfer from Olinda to Praia dos Carneiros Beach.

Transfer from Praia dos Carneiros to Maragogi.

Day 7: Maragogi

Day 8: Maragogi - Recife
